The multi-phased modernization combines programs and space requirements from the three main agencies: the National Veterinary Services Laboratory, the Center of Veterinary Biologics and the National Animal Disease Center.
The facility includes labs, office space and general administration, an auditorium, conference center, library and dining facility.
In addition to master planning, architecture, interior design and structural engineering services, HOK provided construction bridging services, including cost modeling, scheduling, logistics, constructability and delivery options.
