HOK is working with Cadillac Fairview, one of North America’s largest commercial real estate investors, owners and managers, to align the design and performance of these buildings. The Occupant Engagement Program creates a platform that allows Cadillac Fairview to collaborate with tenants to reduce energy and water consumption costs.
The program has led to the development of the Green Council, a building-wide network of tenant leaders and champions who support the program. Energy and waste campaigns feature initiatives tailored to the landlord, tenant organizations and occupants.
By aligning the building’s sustainability programs with individual tenants’ goals, Cadillac Fairview can enhance the property’s marketability by increasing the satisfaction of these tenants and reducing operating costs.
