HOK Aviation Experts to Offer Insights at Passenger Terminal Conference 2019 - London

Several HOK leaders will be moderating and participating in panel discussions at Passenger Terminal Conference 2019, the world’s leading international airport conference and exhibit, taking place March 26-28 in London.

Marion White, regional leader of aviation and transportation in New York, will participate in a panel discussion on “Harnessing Passenger Enthusiasm from Start of Construction to Opening Day” at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday.

The panel discussion will use LaGuardia Airport as a case study for prioritizing the passenger experience, even during the construction phase.

Robert Chicas, director of aviation and transportation, and Carl Galioto, HOK president, both based in New York, will participate in the panel discussion “Design-Build Delivery” at 9:35 a.m. Wednesday.

The panel discussion will use examples to explore the benefits and challenges of different delivery methods.

Matt Breidenthal, regional director of aviation and transportation in Atlanta, will present on “Transformative Modernization: From Design to Reality” at 9:35 a.m. Thursday.

Looking at the modernization of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, this presentation will cover what is needed to update existing airports to best serve current and future aviation demands.

Additionally, Al Lyons, HOK’s information technology and communication (ITC) engineering director, is the co-chair for the Technology Conference and will be doing the introduction to the programming on March 26 and 28.
