Clemson University’s Allen N. Reeves Football Operations Complex Wins Building Team Award
The Allen N. Reeves Football Complex at Clemson University has won “Silver” in Building Design + Construction’s annual Building Team Awards. The 142,500-sq.-ft. complex, designed by HOK and Goodwyn, Mills and Cawood, opened in February 2017.
“The Allen N. Reeves Football Complex, which includes 1.5 acres of outdoor space, supports the day-to-day activities of Clemson University’s football players, coaches, and staff. It was constructed in 13 months with zero change orders and within South Carolina’s strict cost limitations—a testament to the Building Team’s planning and coordination with owners, staff, and trades.”
“The completed building includes an outdoor basketball shelter, bowling alley, barbershop, production studio, new lockers, sleeping area for players, state-of-the-art training facilities, hydrotherapy pools for injury recovery, and a 25,000-sf weight-lifting room.”
