HOK Promotes St. Louis Design Principal Eli Hoisington to Senior Vice President

Architect Eli Hoisington, AIA, LEED AP, has been promoted to senior vice president in HOK’s St. Louis office.

Eli Hoisington, AIA, LEED AP, is the design principal for HOK’s St. Louis office.Hoisington, the design principal and a leader for HOK’s St. Louis practice since relocating from the firm’s New York office in 2014, also is a member of HOK’s global design board and board of directors.

Hoisington was a lead designer for the proposed St. Louis riverfront NFL stadium. Most recently, he has been leading the design of Indiana University Health’s regional academic health campus in Bloomington, Indiana. Hoisington also is leading the team designing a new $26 million headquarters building for the Federal Home Loan Bank of Topeka, Kansas.

“Eli is an exceptional designer and relationship-builder,” said Bill Hellmuth, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, HOK’s president and CEO. “We are fortunate to have his leadership in such an important office for our firm. His ability to guide planning and design teams in creating sustainable, high-performance and intelligent buildings brings great value to our clients.”

His work has been honored in numerous awards competitions, including three design awards from the American Institute of Architects. Hoisington earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University.
