HOK’s Hamad International Airport Wins Strategic Project of the Year Award
Hamad International Airport (HIA) won the Strategic Project of the Year Award at the 2015 Global Projects of the Year Awards ceremony.
“The 2015 Global Projects of the Year Awards were announced during CG/LA Infrastructure’s Global Infrastructure Leadership Forum in New York City. Top industry executives from around the world selected the winners. Hamad International Airport bagged the Strategic Project of the Year award out of five nominees shortlisted in the category.”

HOK designed the airport’s passenger terminal complex “to provide passengers with a seamless and hassle-free experience from arrival and transfers to boarding, achieving minimal connection times of just 30 minutes.”
