HOK’s Amir Aghajani joins the 2024 Disaster Expo USA to present the resilient design of the Luminary Hotel in Miami.
The presentation will discuss the Luminary’s performance during and after Hurricane Ian in 2022. Resilient design strategies helped protect the hotel, which functioned as a base for first responders and emergency management personnel working to restore power and infrastructure in Fort Myers, Florida, and surrounding areas.
