Since 1991, Louis has been principal-in-charge or project architect for a wide variety of four- and five-star hospitality projects worldwide. These have included a new urban and resort properties ranging from 100 to 1,000 guestroom keys, renovations of small and large properties, and adaptive re-use and preservation projects.
Louis’ design teams create unique properties, each with a personalized value proposition that fulfills the needs of the owner, operator and guests.
“No two hospitality projects are the same. As the hospitality market grows more crowded, each client needs to clearly differentiate its property. After our initial site visit and client conversations, we ask ourselves a series of questions: ‘What is the story of this location? How is it unique? What will guests hope to experience when they visit? What are the design cues that can connect this hotel—inside and out—to its unique location and culture?’ Afer we address these underlying concepts, we collaborate with the entire project team to create a memorable destination that fulfills our client’s aspirations for the property and goals for the program, schedule and budget.”
