Donovan Olliff

Donovan Olliff, AIA, is the chair of HOK’s diversity advisory council, which focuses on inclusion, fairness in opportunity, respect and integration within HOK’s diverse international practice.

On a day-to-day basis, Donovan, who holds a degree in architecture, serves as HOK’s assistant general counsel.

Why is diversity important in a design firm?

“Innovation is the currency of a creative organization. Seeing people through the prism of their differences obscures the merit of their ideas. A culture that is free of bias, preconception and prejudgment is a culture where the best ideas are recognized and innovation flourishes.”
