Anne Hutton, MCIP, RPP, is the managing director for HOK’s practice in the Middle East and Africa. Based in Dubai, she is responsible for the strategic direction, overall performance and maintaining business relationships in the region.
Anne has worked in HOK’s Dubai office since 2009, during which time she has led projects throughout the Middle East and Africa. Her portfolio includes the Dubai Expo 2020 Master Plan; Yiti and Yenkit Concept Master Plan for a 12-square-mile resort in Oman; the Makkah Techno Valley campus in Saudi Arabia; the Opera House District Master Plan in Dubai; and the 2,720-acre Tatu Estates Master Plan in Kenya.
Anne originally hails from Canada. She joined HOK’s Canadian practice in 2007 and later moved to Dubai to support work on a significant project in the UAE. Prior to becoming managing director in Dubai, Anne served as regional leader of planning for the Middle East. She is a member of the firm’s Planning Congress and is actively engaged in the Dubai and Abu Dhabi design communities.
