High-Tech Living in the
‘World’s Smartest City’

New Songdo City Central Park I and II
Incheon, South Korea

HOK designed a series of residential and mixed-use towers within New Songdo City, an international business district called “the most high-tech place on the planet” and “the world’s smartest city.”

Block D22 includes three residential towers located on the northern edge of Central Park, a green oasis that form’s the centerpiece of Korea’s first international city. Central Park I includes three 50-story residential towers rising above an urban street edge of three-story commercial and retail space.

The adjacent Block D23 includes Central Park II, one 50-story and two 45-story residential towers above an urban street edge of two- and three-story commercial and retail buildings.

The towers form a gateway to the city’s northern residential neighborhood and set an international standard of living and a Korean standard for sustainable design. The properties accommodate state-of-the-art technology, live-in work amenities and retail space. The design will define the northern edge of the city’s Central Park as the “Fifth Avenue” of New Songdo City.

Residents can enjoy convenient access to schools, healthcare facilities, cultural activities and athletic venues.
