“This amazing new center will help advance learning in the sciences, health careers and technology for current and future generations. Robert L. Breuder, PhD ”
As the first project of a phased campus master plan, the project provides a creative solution to a complex building program and sets the standard for future campus development.
Though originally intended as three separate building programs, the team determined that a combined single building offered economic efficiencies and an environment that would promote student and faculty interaction.
Functionally and visually, the project reflects the client’s progressive vision of enabling this two-year community college to provide students with state-of-the-art facilities that rival or surpass neighboring four-year colleges and universities.
As an integral part of its community, the building includes flexible lab and teaching spaces to accommodate targeted learning programs in cooperation with high-tech corporate neighbors and a dental clinic that offers services to the surrounding community.
