As part of a national account relationship, HOK helped Cisco relocate from its suburban Chicago office into three floors of the new Rosemont Corporate Center building.
The design addresses Cisco’s business goals for collaboration, productivity, employee satisfaction, environmental responsibility and showcasing emerging technology.
HOK, MC2 and Cloud Systems collaborated to design the CBC, which features a series of interactive, high-technology media and audiovisual displays, virtual demos and presentation spaces. Within this space, products are marketed through unique settings and themes, such as a condominium-style display that showcases Cisco technologies in a real-life environment.
The first floor space accommodates the new customer briefing center – the centerpiece. Its entry-level location allows Cisco to showcase its cutting-edge technologies to visiting prospects and clients.
The field sales office and system engineer’s lab are on the second and third floors. Designed using the Cisco workplace design guidelines and standards created by HOK, the new office space features mobile and touchdown work settings.
