Symantec’s master plan for this facility called for mixed occupancy including a call center, marketing, administration and technology research and development – disparate functions unified by the affinity for “outdoorism” in the Northwestern US.
The wayfinding thematic layers technology atop outdoor culture. An additional layer of global naming and addressing reinforces a worldwide marketing mindset.
Graphics for this campus are predominately digitally output imagery. In this approach, the visual design content is rich but fabrication costs are drastically reduced. This project delivery model allowed for mass customization of graphic content, enhancing the ability of the design to tell a global story.
