“There is no way to describe how awesome this building is. This new facility is going to help us reach our goal to be the healthiest and most fit campus in the country.”
The building creates a new hub for personal, social and physical well-being at Auburn.
Bold graphics embody the concept of ‘bringing the outside in’ through engaging, layered photography of local landmarks with pops of color. This visual connectivity with the outdoors, combined with silhouettes of bodies in motion, creates an intuitive wayfinding package that activates the space. A dot pattern applied to graphics throughout the building acts as a unifying design element.
As part of a campus-wide branding effort, HOK’s Experience Design group created code signage for integration throughout Auburn’s facilities. This expanded the visual language and brought a cohesive design vocabulary to the campus buildings.
