When guests enter the space, they encounter lavish Port Laurent stone floors, diamond-like wall coverings in soothing jewel tones, a stunning 20-foot diamond waterfall chandelier and floating crystal jewel boxes encasing haute couture jewelry creations designed by Katz.
The sprawling grand parlor is flooded with light from the suite’s floor-to-ceiling windows, highlighting the grand piano located at center stage.
These themes continue on the second floor, where luxuriant sleeping spaces provide an intimate retreat and a presentation room is specially designed for guests to try on the dazzling jeweled creations.
The romantic environment soars to new heights on the suite’s third floor, which features one of the few wood-burning fireplaces in a New York City hotel. Guests can enjoy the city views from a spa installed on the private outdoor terrace.
This project won the Best Suite honor in the 2014 Gold Key Awards for excellence in hospitality design.
