HOK developed a comprehensive master plan organizing the vehicular and pedestrian circulation to create a vibrant cultural district while positioning the towers to frame key views.
Developed in collaboration with the client’s management team, engineering disciplines, retail consultants and the various tower architects, the master plan and landscape strategy completes the public realm.
The accelerated development schedule meant that the Burj Khalifa Tower site was in constant evolution. A master plan report and design guidelines set the framework for the next stage of implementation.
HOK also coordinated the overall presentation of the development with an animated fly-through and three-dimensional views highlighting the character of the new public spaces.
