Strategically located on the coast of Guangdong province, Zhuhai’s status as a regional transportation hub and its proximity to Macau and Hong Kong enhance its position as one of the core cities in the Pearl River Delta. From its mountains to long stretches of waterfront, Zhuhai’s natural setting is both the source and means of sustaining the development’s value.
The design provides a dynamic mix of uses, diverse neighborhoods and an engaging pedestrian environment interconnected with a transit hub, extensive canals and an open space network. Planned within four unique zones along the waterfront, the design focuses on economic, cultural and high-tech developments aligned with the city’s vision.
The development is marked by an extraordinary skyline and iconic signature tower. The district features open space, prime commercial offices, hotels, a SoHo: Live-Work area, a residential-urban village and luxury waterfront residential properties.
The active waterfront includes a wide variety of retail and dining facilities with views of Hengqin Center and the Macau Tower. The CBD core sits on a distinctive island, creating value with increased water frontage. It is anchored by the opera house, the aquarium and Zhuhai 680. Event space and an outdoor exhibition plaza are integrated with a sunken plaza along the cultural spine, connecting with underground retail.
The master plan is organized to allow maximum connectivity between residential and commercial elements focused around a central open space amenity. A pedestrian promenade offers a range of experiences including the cultural plaza and a green waterfront park.
