This high-tech medical teaching facility is the new hub for Washington University's School of Medicine. A light-infused atrium connects the six-story Farrell Center to the school's original home in the 1913 North Building. HOK's design honors the school's core mission: teaching, research and patient care. The Center provides state-of-the-art teaching facilities that support a dynamic curriculum. Classrooms and study spaces encourage a variety of learning styles while establishing a link between the clinical and basic sciences divisions. The facility also includes teaching labs, discussion rooms, study areas, a clinical skills suite with exam rooms, and a U-shaped case study room.
