HOK’s Chris DeVolder to Discuss How Sports Facilities Create Sustainable Communities and Urban Vitalization
Chris DeVolder, sustainable design leader of Sports + Recreation + Entertainment based in HOK’s Kansas City office, will present “Beyond the Building: How Sports Facilities Contribute to Sustainable Communities & Urban Vitalization” at the Green Sports Alliance Summit at 9:30 a.m. on June 30 in Chicago.
Lisa Fulford-Roy, senior vice president for client strategy and marketing principal in HOK’s Toronto office, will present “Collaborative and Innovative Design – Learning From Other Building Types” at the 5th Annual Institute on the Library as Place 2015 at 3:45 p.m., July 6 in Waterloo, Ontario.
Tom Fortier, regional leader of Science + Technology, and Paul Woolford, design principal, both of HOK’s San Francisco office, will speak at the International Institute of Sustainable Laboratories (I2SL) annual conference. Their presentation, “NOAA Inouye Regional Center: Building a Sustainable Research Future on Hallowed Ground,” will take place Sept. 21 at 1:30 p.m. in San Diego.
