Experience Design Brings Together HOK’s In-house Graphic Design and Experiential Branding Practices

Visual Communications and Studio Tilt, HOK’s in-house graphic design and experiential branding groups, have come together to form one practice called Experience Design.

“Unifying these two groups strengthens our firm-wide experiential design offerings and enables us to create exceptional experiences for clients all over the world,” said Bill Hellmuth, FAIA, HOK’s chairman and CEO.

Experience Design helps all types of organizations use space to tell their stories. By fully integrating with HOK’s architectural and interior design teams, Experience Design creates powerful environments that build brand identity, communicate messages, invite connections and enhance experiences.

For the past 15 years, Visual Communications has worked across HOK’s markets all over the world. Since HOK acquired 360 Architecture in 2014, Studio Tilt, a practice within 360, has shared its expertise in graphics, wayfinding and branding focused in the Sports + Recreation + Entertainment and WorkPlace markets.
