HOK Wins Two IIDA Southern California Calibre Design Awards
Beachbody’s Headquarters in Santa Monica won in the ”work large” category and the Pritzker Group’s Headquarters in Los Angeles won for “work small.”
The IIDA Southern California Chapter’s Calibre Design Awards celebrate design and recognize the work of project teams that have exceeded expectations. The awards honor the true meaning of collaboration for projects that exhibit a high level of teamwork and stunning design. HOK’s revamp of Beachbody’s Headquarters won in the “work large” category and the team’s design for Pritzker Group’s Headquarters won for “work small.”
HOK’s design for the Pritzker Group, an equity investment, private capital and venture capital firm, reflects the bright, modern and casual atmosphere of Southern California. Timeless professional elegance serves as a backdrop to Managing Partner Anthony Pritzker’s contemporary, museum-quality art collection. These vibrant works of art, including six new pieces, inject color and whimsy throughout the space. Pure white gloss paint and solid surfaces offset the firm’s new orange corporate color.
Beachbody is a health and fitness company focused on exercise videos, workout gear and clothing, and nutritional products. After experiencing explosive growth over the last few years, Beachbody commissioned HOK to redesign its three-story headquarters in Santa Monica. The rebranded space creates an inspirational work environment and reflects its lifestyle-changing mission.
