HOK’s 535 Mission Street a Finalist for a 2017 Architizer A+ Award
The 27-story San Francisco tower is one of just five high-rise office buildings recognized in this year’s Architizer A+ Awards, an annual celebration of great architecture and design.
“535 Mission shows less still can be more,” wrote architecture critic John King in his review for the San Francisco Chronicle. “Where the base of 535 Mission blends with the surroundings, the tapered form above is a discreet show unto itself—attracting attention not by height, but with a simple set of inward moves that draw the eye.”
535 Mission Street was the first office tower completed in San Francisco since the 2008 recession and city’s first LEED Core and Shell Platinum commercial high-rise.
