HOK’s Ryan Gedney Named to Building Design + Construction’s 2016 “40 under 40”
Ryan Gedney, vice president and senior project designer for HOK’s Sports + Recreation + Entertainment practice, has been named to Building Design + Construction’s 2016 “40 under 40” class.
Gedney has the led the design of significant arenas and mixed-use districts, including Rogers Place in Edmonton, Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Sprint Center in Kansas City and, most recently, the Philips Arena renovation in Atlanta. His projects have won more than 22 awards from organizations including the Urban Land Institute, AIA and ASLA. In addition, he plays an integral role in mentoring staff through HOK’s buildingSMART program.
Building Design + Construction’s ”40 under 40” awards recognize individuals who have distinguished themselves based on career achievements, philanthropic work and service to their professions and communities.
