Indira Gandhi International Airport Named World’s Best for Service Quality in 2015

Indira Gandhi International Airport Terminal 3A global airport organization has named the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi, India, the world’s best for service quality in 2015. HOK designed the 2.7 million-sq.-ft. Terminal 3.

Airports Council International (ACI) announced the designation as part of its annual Airport Service Quality Awards. The award is for airports handling 25-40 million passengers per annum (MPPA). Indira Gandhi International Airport tied with Mumbai–Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport for the honor.

The ACI recognized Indira Gandhi International Airport as the world’s best in 2014 and the world’s second best in 2011, 2012 and 2013.

Terminal 3 was the country’s first airport to receive LEED Gold certification.
