Indianapolis International Named North America’s Best Airport for 2014

Indianapolis International Airport also is the world’s first complete airport campus to earn LEED certification and one of the largest LEED-certified projects in the US.

A global airport organization has named the Indianapolis International Airport designed by HOK as the best in North America for 2014.

Airports Council International (ACI) announced the designation as part of its annual Airport Service Quality Awards. Indianapolis International Airport also earned this honor in 2010, 2012 and 2013. The awards are based on the ACI’s year-round passenger satisfaction surveys.

“At the Indianapolis International Airport, it is crucial that we focus on meeting and exceeding passenger expectations in every way and receiving this award for the fourth time only solidifies that we are doing just that,” said Michael Wells, Indianapolis Airport Authority board president, in Inside Indiana Business. “I have to thank our dedicated employees and business partners for working tirelessly to help us reach this incredible honor.”
