HOK Names William Jenkinson Regional Aviation + Transportation Leader in Chicago
A recognized aviation industry leader, Jenkinson brings 25 years of planning and design experience to HOK’s clients. He will focus on project opportunities in North America and internationally.

Jenkinson joins HOK from Gensler, where he was a director of Aviation + Transportation. His extensive experience spans a broad range of projects across North America, Europe and Asia. His recent work includes developing planning and design concepts for the replacement of Terminal 1, including a new landside development, at San Diego Lindbergh Field; a 50-acre master plan for Amtrak Chicago Yard in Chicago; the master plan and conceptual design for the new international airport at Mopa, Goa, India; and the design solution for converting the original international terminal at San Francisco International Airport into a LEED Gold certified domestic hub for Virgin America and American Airlines.
Jenkinson is an international associate with the American Institute of Architects and a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects and Urban Land Institute. He holds a Professional Diploma in Architecture from the University of North London and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Liverpool.

HOK’s passenger terminal projects include the Hamad International Airport Passenger Terminal Complex in Doha, Qatar; the Salt Lake City International Airport Terminal Redevelopment Program; the Boston Logan International Airport Terminal A; the Indianapolis International Airport Col H. Weir Cook Terminal; the Long Beach Airport Modernization; and the King Khalid International Airport Development and Expansion in Riyadh.
