Gilmour Robyn_NEWS STORY IMAGE1HOK has appointed Robyn Gilmour to lead its London marketing group as senior vice president and marketing principal.

Gilmour will establish, implement and manage HOK’s business development and marketing strategy, building strong relationships with clients, teams and consultants. She will work closely with HOK’s market leaders to serve clients in key market sectors across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India.

Gilmour’s appointment adds momentum to HOK’s London practice, which has won several high-profile projects in recent months.

Gilmour joins HOK after nearly seven years with design and engineering consultancy Atkins, where she was responsible for strategic marketing and business development.

“I am delighted to join the team at HOK,” said Gilmour. “This is an exciting time for the practice following such a broad range of recent project wins. I look forward to working with the team to continue to expand our work in key markets and strengthen the profile of HOK’s practice at an international level.”

Recent projects for HOK’s London office include the BBC New Broadcasting House, the Francis Crick Institute (the UK’s largest biomedical research facility), The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Barts & The London NHS Trust and Gatwick’s £1 billion investment program in London; the Baku Flame Towers in Baku, Azerbaijan; and the Central Bank of Kuwait and the National Assembly in Kuwait. Past projects in London over the past 25 years include the restoration of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in Whitehall, the Darwin Centre at the Natural History Museum and Barclays World Headquarters in Canary Wharf.
