Construction Continues on 74-Story ADNOC Headquarters in Abu Dhabi
HOK designed the 74-story, two-million-square-foot headquarters complex in Abu Dhabi, UAE, for the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC).
ADNOC’s new headquarters complex will be a landmark building for the company and for the United Arab Emirates.
HOK’s design provides a carefully developed site plan which takes maximum advantage of the building setback by creating plazas and entry courts, suitable for a prestigious corporate headquarters.
The complex, which includes a total built-up area of approximately 190,000 square meters (2.0 million square feet), is expected to be completed by January 2015.
“We are honored that our long-term client ADNOC continues to rely upon Hill to manage construction of their new world-class headquarters complex,” said Raouf S. Ghali, President of Hill International’s Project Management Group.
Abu Dhabi National Oil Company was established in 1971 to operate in all areas of the oil and gas industry and since then has steadily broadened its activity, establishing companies and subsidiaries and creating an integrated oil and gas industry in Abu Dhabi.
