Tom Polucci on Workplace Design as Start-Up Chic Goes Corporate
Tom Polucci talks to The New York Times about the workplace strategy for Deloitte’s new global corporate headquarters at 30 Rockefeller Plaza in Manhattan.
“As mobility has increased, given technological advancement and other factors at play, that touchpoint when people come back to the office is very important,” said Katherine Loscalzo, workplace strategy leader in real estate for Deloitte.
“The concept here is that no one has a fixed space with their nameplate on it,” said Polucci, director of interior design at HOK, which is designing Deloitte’s headquarters.
At 30 Rockefeller Plaza and other locations, Deloitte is creating vibrant work environments that support flexibility, technology and collaboration. Read more about the company’s bold redesign strategy for its “Next Generation Workplace.”
